European Real Estate Chief and Senior
Portfolio Manager Rogier Quirijns said:
"Lipper is delighted again to
recognize Lipper's ongoing strong performance that offers our investors attractive
risk-based rates, an achievement that we believe is the result of our entire
team's dedication and effort in achieving investment excellence. Just as the
pandemic raised certain types of real estate by 2020, progress in the
distribution of vaccines and fiscal stimulus could benefit some of the most
affected REIT sectors, creating potentially attractive entrances in 2021."
REITs are increasingly looking for their
potential for high risk-adjusted returns, income and diversification by
investors around the globe who are looking to diversify their direct ownership
and discovers new sources of alpha. In 2020, the U.S. and Global Immobilien
Strategies of Cohen & Steers achieved record net inflows.
Investing in REITs and other publicly
traded real estate companies with domicile in Europe and the United Kingdom,
the Fund seeks to achieve current revenue and capital appreciation. The fund
aims to capitalize on variations in the cycles of the country-specific economic
and property industry and on the diversity of business models by investing
across European markets. In our opinion, the markets offer good, disciplined,
active managers attractive opportunities to deliver consistent excess returns.
The 5-year category of real estate in
Austria, France and Switzerland includes 15, 34 and 21 funds.

About Lipper Leader Consistent Return
Ratings. Consistent return ratings reflect historical returns of the funds
adjusted for volatility relative to peers. The ratings of all Lipper
classifications shall be calculated with five or more distinct portfolios and
cover equity and fixed-income funds. Each month the ratings are subject to
change and for the following periods are calculated: 3 years, 5 years, 10
years, and overall. The highest 20% of the funds in every classification are
Lipper Return Leaders. The overall calculation is based on an equivalent
average of percentile rates for the consistent returns over three, five and ten
years (if applicable).
Lipper Leaders for Consistent Return may
fit investors best who value the annual consistency of a fund compared with
other funds within a specific peer group. Investors are warned that inherently
some peer groups are more volatile than others, and Lipper Leaders in the most
volatile groups may not be adequately suited to short-term targets or less
risk-tolerant investors even for consistent returns.
